You’ve seen them – our striking straps with bold, crisp prints that look like they were born that way. But have you ever wondered how the magic happens?
Welcome to our sublimation printing cave, where precision meets heat, and blank polyester straps are transformed into wearable art for warriors of bodyweight training.
Let’s peel back the curtain and walk you through the 3-stage process:
1. The Ritual Begins – Lining Up the Design
We start with two ingredients:
-
A blank polyester strap (the perfect canvas).
-
A sublimation transfer sheet with your soon-to-be-seared-in design (printed using special inks that don't mess around).
Each strap is carefully aligned with its corresponding transfer paper. No sloppy corners. No guesswork. Just surgical precision. We lay them together inside a high-pressure heat press that looks more like a sci-fi waffle maker than a printer.
2. Fire & Fusion – Enter the Heat Press
Once everything’s lined up, the press clamps down and cranks up the heat — we’re talking around 200°C (that’s 400°F for our American friends).
Under this pressure cooker:
-
The ink turns into gas (no joke),
-
Penetrates the fibers of the polyester strap,
-
And then solidifies inside the material — permanently.
This isn’t surface printing. There’s no peeling, no fading. The result is a strap that wears your design like a tattoo — deep, vivid, and long-lasting.
3. The Reveal – Fresh Out of the Fire
Open the press, and boom — there it is:
-
The design is now embedded into the strap.
-
Every color is sharper, more saturated.
-
The edges are clean, the lines are crisp, and the vibe is 100% you.
We toss the used sublimation paper aside (it’s done its job), give the strap a little air, and it’s ready to be sewn, packed, and shipped to your next workout.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just about looking good (though, let’s be honest — that’s a big part of it).
Sublimation gives us the freedom to:
-
Print bold graphics without adding thickness or stiffness.
-
Avoid cracking or fading, even after 1000s of workouts.
-
Stay sustainable — no plasticky layers or unnecessary waste.
Final Words from the Workshop
Every strap goes through this process by hand. Carefully aligned. Heat-pressed with love. Quality-checked with an obsessive eye. Because when you train with MARMATI gear, you’re not just buying equipment — you’re holding a story in your hands.
Next time you’re hanging upside down on your rings, take a second to admire the print. It’s not just design. It’s engineering, heat, and craftsmanship in every fiber.
